Her philosophy is that with creativity and innovation, we can green the movies together.

"With every waking day, I hope to continue to live a life of service and social transformation and be the change that I want to see. If the passion, creativity and commitment of people can be liberated for the common good, we can change the world. As youth today, we stand in a powerful place, at a threshold of opportunity: the choices we make can transform the future and do something about the suffering that is taking place in the world. But I believe we can only do this if we combine our passion, creativity and commitment with the wisdom of the generations before us.”

Our AssociatesIan Caine Wilson
Ian Caine & Associates

Ian Caine was raised with a keen awareness of the natural environment. Ian’s parents made experiencing and appreciating nature a priority in his upbringing. Many of Ian’s summers were spent swimming in the Pacific Ocean and exploring the wonders of Yosemite National Park. These experiences have translated into a deep respect for the Earth and a desire to help minimize the impacts that human activity have upon it.

Another priority of Ian’s upbringing was learning to respect and care for those that have experienced a lack of social justice. Growing up in a very diverse, both socio-economically and racially, part of suburban Los Angeles allowed Ian to gain a first-hand account of many of today’s social injustices. Ian’s parents instilled a commitment to giving back to community and doing what one can to mitigate the social ills of society.

This upbringing led Ian to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Martin’s University in Olympia, Washington, and begin a career of working with youth. Ian spent several years working with abused and neglected children in Southern California and then went on to become a middle school teacher in both California and Washington. During this time, Ian was an Academic Leader at Holland Middle School and coordinated the implementation of the Enhancing Education Through Technology grant.

Having taught for several years, Ian was ready for a new challenge. The current environmental and social crisis of the world led Ian to search for a way through which he could maximize his positive impact upon the world. When Ian discovered Bainbridge Graduate Institute and its MBA in Sustainable Business program, he realized that business, with its position of power in our world, had the potential to create significant change. In 2007, Ian entered the program and began to research different industries and their impacts upon society.

Upon investigating the entertainment industry, Ian realized that it potentially has the greatest power to create a shift in the current culture of natural destruction and social injustice. This revelation led Ian to find Reel Green Media and join the company in an effort to promote change and make a difference in the world.

In Ian’s free time he enjoys playing with his two daughters, being a family man, riding a bicycle, bodysurfing, permaculture, snowboarding, African drumming, eating good food with friends and family, and learning about new ways to positively impact society.
